Pharmacy Assistant

Pharmasave #427 is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Estevan, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily pharmacy operations.
• Assist with prescription entry, labelling, packaging, and medication preparation.
• Provide friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
• Process insurance claims and prescription transfers.
• Receive, stock, and monitor medication inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Kroll and prescription data entry.
• Knowledge of Pharmacare, insurance billing, and clinical service flagging.
• Pharmacy Assistant training/certification is an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes as needed.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Flexibility to work within these hours is required.
