Part-Time Night Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Night Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors.

This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, organized, able to work independently, and comfortable working in an addiction and recovery setting while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, washrooms, kitchens, and participant spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
• Empty garbage and recycling.
• Restock cleaning, hygiene, and washroom supplies.
• Complete nightly cleaning duties according to assigned schedules.

Follow proper cleaning, safety, and infection-control procedures.

• Report maintenance, safety, damage, or supply concerns to management.
• Respect participant privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is an asset.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage cleaning priorities.
• Respectful and professional when working around participants and staff.
• Comfortable working in an addiction treatment and recovery environment.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to complete physical cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule: Part-time evening/night shifts
