Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Driver to provide safe and respectful transportation for participants in our addiction recovery program.
This role supports participants with transportation to appointments, programming, community resources, and other approved destinations while helping maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Duties
Safely transport participants to and from approved appointments, programs, and community services.
Follow scheduled pickup and drop-off times.
Maintain a respectful, professional, and non-judgmental approach with participants.
Follow confidentiality and professional boundary expectations.
Complete basic trip logs and required documentation.
Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report any concerns or maintenance needs.
Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use.
Communicate with staff regarding schedules, delays, or transportation concerns.
Follow all traffic laws, agency policies, and safety procedures.
Assist with other transportation-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
Valid drivers licence and a clean driving record.
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable driving in different weather and road conditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Understanding of addiction, mental health, or community services is considered an asset.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Flexible availability, including some mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check may be required.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and able to provide participants with respectful and reliable transportation.
Compensation Details
$18 - $20
