Paratransit Driver(s) - Casual

The Town of Nipawin is currently recruiting for 2 Paratransit Drivers-casual position

The primary responsibility of the Paratransit Driver will be to: operate the Paratransit vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and maintaining a high level of customer service to all eligible passengers, collect fares and maintain fare cards, ensure all vehicle safety equipment, including tie downs and seatbelts are used properly, assist passengers in and out of the vehicle and safe securing of wheelchairs and other mobility aids.

The service operates seven(7) days a week, including statutory holidays. The working hours will vary depending on the schedule of trips, with shifts typically falling between 8:00am and 11:00pm

The successful candidate(s) must have a valid class 4 license and

Provide a drivers abstract and Police Records check(working with vulnerable persons)prior to commencement of employment

Wages and benefits will be paid according to the CUPE Local 777-01 Agreement.
