Outside Shipper/Receiver

Degelman Industries LP is looking for an individual to join our team as an Outside Shipper/Receiver. Purpose of the Job

To receive incoming product and supply material to internal and external customers.

Essential functions and responsibilities

• To service incoming vendors and customers.
• To perform count and quality checks of incoming materials.
• Accurately ship product to customers and complete bills of lading and other necessary paperwork.
• General yard maintenance.

Other duties and responsibilities

• Operate cutting torches.
• Operate tractors.
• Operate a forklift.

Knowledge and Skills

• Must be able to locate and identify goods by part number, description, and/or location.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and written.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple duties.

Working Conditions

• Involves heavy lifting.
• This position requires shiftwork.
• This position requires outdoor work in all conditions.
• Relevant training will be provided.
