About this role
Manage day-to-day office and administrative tasks
Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping, invoicing, expense tracking, and accounts receivable/payable
Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
File and organize company documents
Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner
Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed
Assist with payroll and other accounting-related duties as required
Help maintain accurate trucking, customer, and vendor records
Communicate with customers, suppliers, drivers, and vendors
Maintain and organize safety documentation and records
Assist with COR safety program administration, including keeping safety paperwork and records up to date
Help track safety training, orientations, inspections, toolbox meetings, and other safety requirements
Assist with maintaining employee safety files and documentation
Support management with general safety and administrative tasks
Provide general administrative support to the management team
Qualifications & Experience
Previous office administration or bookkeeping experience preferred
Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
Experience with safety administration or COR programs is an asset
Experience in the trucking, construction, or aggregate industry would be an asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Comfortable handling multiple tasks and changing priorities
Professional and friendly communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company and employee information
