Job Description: Reports to the Nursing Manager in the Ambulatory Care Dept. The Educator is self-directed and requires minimum supervision. Contacts with staff, clients/families, other health care professionals and students are an integral part of the position. Often acts as a resource to outside agencies, nursing homes, continuing nursing education, for in services/workshops on area specific and general patient education, as well as teaching/communication skills.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to competently use computers and software applications
