Experience
- 3 years recent full-time experience in surgical obs with cardiac monitoring
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in nursing process and principles of adult learning
- Evidence of clinical leadership ability is an asset
- Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Application of adult learning principles
- Ability to competently use computers and software applications
Other Information
- Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation is an asset.
- Recent critical care experience desired.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Previous experience in formal clinical practice related teaching and mentoring preferred
