Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Childrens Interprofessional Practice & Hearing Health, the Pediatric Rehab Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations, coordination and organizing resources, contributes to the planning, implementing and evaluating education resources for parents, as well as contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Childrens Rehab Program.
Education
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification, is an asset.
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years recent acute care pediatric nursing experience, three (3) of which must be involve charge nurse and/or coordination experience.
- Previous supervisory experience, is an asset.
Knowledge, skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of current trends, issues and perspectives of nursing in pediatrics.
- Knowledge of communication techniques and approaches to adapt to multiple and ever-changing situations and environments.
- Knowledge of critical thinking processes to creatively solve problems in an open and resourceful manner.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques. \
