Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control standards
- Knowledge of nursing services relating to the care of patients on rehabilitation
- Establish and maintain good communication patterns
- Ability to apply principles and techniques to achieve optimum resident care
- Commitment to service excellence, in quality improvement and risk management
- Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment
- Ability to maintain client/patient/resident confidentiality
