Millwright

Under general supervision, the Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and optimization of production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The Millwright performs advanced mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical repairs, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and assists in planning and executing preventive maintenance programs. This position serves as a technical resource for maintenance personnel and production teams, helping to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

1.     Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, manufacturing equipment, forklifts, cranes, and facility systems.
2.     Install, assemble, align, commission, and optimize new and existing equipment.
3.     Perform advanced mechanical repairs involving hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, drive, gearbox, and power transmission systems.
4.     Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests to minimize production downtime.
5.     Execute and document preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
6.     Inspect, adjust, and maintain machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
7.     Perform precision alignment, equipment leveling, bearing replacement, coupling alignment, and machinery setup.
8.     Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
9.     Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Journeyperson Millwright required

Minimum 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Demonstrated experience leading maintenance projects, mentoring employees, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and advanced troubleshooting preferred.

Must be willing to relocate to Englefeld/Humboldt or nearby areas.
