Medical office assistant / Sleep tech

Looking for a rewarding career in the private medical field?  We will provide all the training to the right person. This job involves:

• Answering phones and assisting clients both over the phone and in person.
• Accepting and processing referrals and contacting patients to book appointments.
• Communicating with local physicians, nurse practitioners and dentists as well as provincial Respirology specialists.
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering inventory as needed.
• Educating patients on the use of the home sleep apnea testing device, programing the device, uploading the data etc.
• Educating patients on the use of CPAP therapy.
• Selecting and fitting CPAP masks.
• Cleaning equipment.

The successful candidate will be trained as a CPSGT (certified polysomnography technician).  All training and education is provided.
