About this role
As the first point of contact for patients and referring healthcare providers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while supporting the administrative and billing functions of our diagnostic imaging clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome patients and provide excellent customer service
Schedule appointments and manage clinic bookings
Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records
Perform Saskatchewan healthcare billing and claims submissions
Verify patient health information and insurance coverage
Respond to phone calls, emails, and referral inquiries
Coordinate with physicians, sonographers, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation
Support general office administration and clinic operations
Qualifications
Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent experience
Previous Saskatchewan healthcare billing experience is required.
Experience in a diagnostic imaging, radiology, or medical clinic setting is an asset
Strong knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work independently in a busy healthcare environment
Work schedule
MondayFriday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 1 hour lunch break)
