Responsible for specimen collection and pre-analytical specimen handling/processing using proper techniques and standard procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
Basic Life Support Level C
Intermediate data entry skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Electrocardiogram experience is an asset
Valid drivers license, where required by the job (mobile lab collection)
Phlebotomy certification may be considered as equivalent education requirement
