Meat Clerk - Food Store (15065)

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Meat Clerk (24-39 hours/week) at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Maintain and display all types of meat products according to department standards.
• Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO).
• Prepare meat products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, and maintain production records.
• Clean and sanitize meat department equipment and workstations.
• Support and follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Able to fulfill physical labour job requirements, including performing regular heavy lifting and working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
• Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
