Maths Instructor

Northlands College is seeking an instructor to teach Math as part of the Carpentry Certificate.

Candidates must have a four-year Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, with sufficient classes in pure and/or applied mathematics to constitute a major (U of S / U of R standards); Two years recent relevant business or industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience; Effective communication skills (written and oral); Effective interpersonal skills; Effective instructional skills; Demonstrates valuing diversity.

The accrediting institute for this program is Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The instructor must meet the accrediting institutes requirements.  The instructor works within the accrediting institute curriculum promoting academic success and personal growth with the students. The course is 30 hours and the contract hours for preparation and instruction is negotiated. The position is in Air Ronge; however, consideration may be given to offering the course online.

This is a short-term Contract. The Term starts on September 14 to 30, 2026.
