Village of Landis is seeking a dependable, motivated and hardworking individual for the full-time position of Maintenance Operator.
Duties include but are not limited to
- day to day operations of the water treatment and distribution system
- wastewater treatment and Collection operation and maintenance
- water quality monitoring and daily water testing
- street maintenance and general municipal maintenance
- maintenance of park and open green spaces
- maintenance and operation of equipment, machinery and vehicles
- compost collection
- quarterly water meter readings
Applicants must have valid drivers license. Must be able to work independently and communicate with Council, Staff and the General Public.
The successful applicant should have a certification in small system water and wastewater and pesticide applicator course would be an asset OR willing to work towards the applicable certification requirements.
