Position Overview
Reporting to the GM and Team Lead, we are seeking a Full-Time Machinist or Experienced Machinist Apprentice. If youre a seasoned Machinist with 3-5 years of experience, OR an experienced Apprentice with a mechanical or industrial background who approaches work with a positive attitude, takes pride in their work and seeks to build a meaningful career, this role is for you!
What You'll Do
Execute complex, custom manual machining projects requiring precision and attention to detail.
Responsible for on-site machining on behalf of Saskpro at customer locations.
Perform some CNC machining.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to determine practical solutions to required results.
Participate in project discussions, contributing ideas on equipment and processes.
Maintain required records and documentation.
What You Bring
A Journeyperson Machinist, experienced Machinist Apprentice, or Tradesperson Machinist with 3-5 years of experience preferred, but not required.
Other industry-experienced candidates with machining or machining-related practice may be considered.
Prioritize mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills to understand both the how and the why.
