JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is one of the largest household moving companies in Saskatchewan. As an agent for Atlas Van Lines, our Moving Division offers local and long-distance moving services. We are proud to continue a 60-year history of serving companies and individuals throughout Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

Coordinate long distance dispatch operations and shipment scheduling for all Jays Moving Branch offices.

Communicate with drivers, branch offices, customers, and van line partners.

Resolve operational and logistical issues in a timely manner.

Review estimates and assist with operational planning.

Collaborate with the Sales teams to ensure service requirements are met.

Monitor driver availability, equipment utilization, and line-haul capacity.

Maintain accurate dispatch records, reports, and documentation.

Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, preparing paperwork, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

Experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or moving services is an asset but not required

Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Valid Class 5 drivers license and acceptable drivers abstract

Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service

Excellent computer skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
