Salary and Benefits

$27.80 - $32.52 per hour - According to education and experience.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication and organization skills.
• Speaking Cree, Dene or Michif would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work with all school staff and community members in a

positive manner.

• Experience in working with First Nations schools and communities.
• First-hand experience facilitating land-based learning.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

The successful candidate will

• Support school and community by sharing, supporting, and promoting

land-based knowledge.

• Work with the principal, teachers, parents, Elders, and community

members as a team in implementing and coordinating all aspects of

language and land-based education.

• Assist in developing a positive, caring, and supportive culture and

climate.

• Identify and establish partnerships with Elders, Knowledge Keepers,

and community agencies.
