About this role
Duties include: Under the guidance of the supervisor provide ongoing intensive support services primarily through home visits to assigned families with children prenatal to age 3. Use the curriculum regularly to strengthen parent/child relationships and to promote parenting skills. Documentation in a computerized data system. Facilitate referrals to appropriate community resources.
Skills and qualifications
- � Demonstrated maturity and ability to be a positive role model. Knowledge and awareness of cultural diversity. Good understanding of the challenge of living on low income and ability to provide support in a non-judgemental manner. Experience working directly with families is an asset. Valid driver's license and access to a realible vehicle which meets safety standards.
