About this role
Join the Facilities Maintenance team as a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic. In this hands on role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems across City facilities. You will work independently, interpret technical drawings and specifications, support continuous improvement, and provide guidance to other trades professionals.
What You Bring
- Grade 12 and Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic certification
- Two years of current industrial mechanic experience, preferably in equipment and machinery maintenance
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, trade practices, safety standards, and applicable regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings, use precision measuring tools, and supervise assigned staff
