About this role
Join our team as a Journeyperson Carpenter and help build, maintain, and improve a wide range of City facilities, structures, furniture, and equipment. In this hands on role, you will perform skilled carpentry work, support construction and renovation projects, interpret plans and specifications, and help ensure quality workmanship across municipal assets. If a fully qualified Journeyperson Carpenter is not available, qualified tradespeople with relevant experience may be considered.
What You Bring
- Journeyperson Carpenter certification with related industry experience
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, building practices, and applicable codes
- Ability to read drawings, prepare estimates, and manage project details
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills
