Journeyman / Apprentice Autobody Painter

Discovery Edge Collision & Glass is growing, and were looking for a Journeyman or Apprentice Autobody Painter to join our team in Humboldt, SK!

Were looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and wants to be part of a busy, supportive collision repair team. Whether youre an experienced Journeyman or an Apprentice looking to continue developing your skills, wed love to hear from you.

What Youll Do

Prepare vehicles and parts for refinishing, including sanding, masking, cleaning and priming

Mix and match paint colours to achieve accurate finishes

Apply basecoat, clearcoat and other refinishing products

Blend and refinish panels according to proper repair procedures

Inspect finished work to ensure a high-quality result

Maintain paint equipment, tools and the paint booth

Follow proper safety procedures and manufacturer/OEM repair standards

Work alongside our autobody team to keep repairs moving efficiently and on schedule

What Were Looking For

Journeyman certification orregistered Autobody Painter/Refinishing Apprentice

Previous automotive painting, prep or refinishing experience

Strong colour-matching and blending skills are an asset

Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, organized and able to work efficiently in a busy shop

Valid drivers licence

A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
