Janitor-Casual

POSITION

This position requires experience in general janitorial duties within an institutional setting. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of cleaning inside the building, as well as light maintenance duties as necessary.

This position is a night shift 12am -8am . The shifts are Saturday, Sunday and Stat Holidays .

DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Be aware of and seek effective understanding of the Saskatchewan Impaired Driver Treatment Centre's philosophy, policies and program model.
2.     Assume overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the building, furniture and equipment.
3.     Recommend ways to enhance janitorial services within the Centre.
4.     Monitor janitorial inventory and complete purchase orders as necessary.
5.     Participate in the budget planning as they relate to janitorial supplies.
6.     Perform light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, fuses, door knobs, locks, and minor plumbing etc.
7.     Other related duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Grade ten preferred, experience in institutional janitorial services preferred, Valid First Aid,Drivers License and CPR Certificates.
