Our mission is to be a leader in delivering evidence-based services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), while maintaining a fun, safe, and nurturing program tailored to each child's individual needs.

ABACS is currently seeking dynamic, energetic, and compassionate individuals for the role of Instructor Therapist (IT), where you will have the opportunity to work directly with children with autism, delivering one-on-one (and sometimes small group) individualized programming in a centre-based setting. This role requires high energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to working intensively on specific goals with

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 service delivery using evidence-based teaching methods.

Support practical daily interactions with children.

Daily communication with parents/guardian

Collect data and track learner progress

Successfully complete the mandatory Training requirements

Qualifications

Previous experience is an asset

Hold or working towards a degree, diploma/certificate in a related field such as Psychology,   Education, Early Childhood Education, Kinesiology, Social Work, etc.

Must be outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, possess strong organizational skills, and be ready for a challenge

Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Start Date: As soon as possible

Must be available within ABACS operating hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM  5:00 PM).
