Industrial Mechanics Instructor

Suncrest College welcomes applications for an Instructor in the Industrial Mechanics program. This is a term, full-time instructor position from February 8, 2027 until May 21, 2027. This position is located in Nipawin, SK, the total contract is 522 hours/87 days.

The Opportunity

The position is primarily responsible for instructing in the Industrial Mechanics Applied Certificate program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, lectures, and exams.Instructors will use technology in their delivery when possible to enhance learners learning experience.

Requirements

• The minimum educational qualification for this position is a grade 12 diploma or equivalent and an Industrial Mechanics Interprovincial Journeyperson certificate or Red Seal designation.
• The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is five years post journeyperson experience
• Preference will be given to candidate with previous instructional experience.
• Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and receive necessary approval.
• Valid Saskatchewan Driver's license.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment
