Job Overview

As a Millwright specializing in hydraulic cylinders, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems and components. Your role will ensure that hydraulic equipment operates efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Assembly: Install and assemble hydraulic cylinders and related components according to specifications and blueprints.

Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance on hydraulic systems, including inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, and repairing hydraulic cylinders and components.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hydraulic system issues, including leaks, pressure problems, and mechanical failures.

Calibration: Calibrate hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

Testing: Conduct tests on hydraulic systems and components to ensure proper operation and safety.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed on hydraulic cylinders.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working on hydraulic systems, ensuring a safe work environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and production staff to address hydraulic system issues and support overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Journeyman or Apprentice Millwright

3+ years experience

Experience in manufacturing considered an asset

Qualified candidate must have a Canadian Citizenship or Permanent residency; Pass a security assessment and provide a criminal record check due to military controlled Goods designation.
