Industrial Mechanic

We are looking for a motivated individual to join the maintenance team at the worlds high-grade uranium mine, located at the Cigar Lake operation in northern Saskatchewan. You will report to the surface maintenance supervisor and work on surface.

In this role, you will

• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production
• Complete repairs and overhauls on equipment and piping systems in an underground mine and perform basic welding as required
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repair

Required

• grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
• valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson industrial mechanic certification;
• five years of industrial experience;
• a minimum five years of previous mill maintenance experience;
• ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• ability to wear PAPR when required;
• team player with good communication skills;
• excellent safety record; and
• work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended

• familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP; and
• previous experience working in an underground mine.
