Housekeeping Room Attendant

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and assigned public areas while maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms to brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, vacuum floors, dust furniture, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Empty garbage and recycling.
• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and safety concerns.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Clean hallways and public areas as assigned.
• Follow hotel procedures and work efficiently to meet daily productivity standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

This is a physically demanding position. Applicants must be able to:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Push and maneuver loaded housekeeping carts.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
