About this role
- Maintain and support underground heavy equipment through a combination of preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
- Advanced diagnostics, fault finding, component rebuilds, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and availability in a continuous mining operation.
This is a temporary position with an expected duration of eight months.
Requirements of the position
- valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty equipment mechanic certificate or, agricultural mechanic certificate;
- five years of related underground or surface experience with mobile heavy equipment maintenance;
- ability to utilize original equipment manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic software;
- excellent safety record; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets
- previous experience working underground;
- reliability or predictive maintenance experience; and
- familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking SAP.
