Role Overview
As the HSE Advisor, you will provide front-line health, safety, and environmental support to ensure safe, compliant, and effective operations across client sites and projects. This role works closely with workers, supervisors, and leadership to promote a strong safety culture and practical safety solutions.
Responsibilities
Support and maintain HSE programs and regulatory compliance.
Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations.
Provide safety coaching, orientations, toolbox talks, and training.
Participate in incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
Maintain safety documentation, audits, permits, and reports.
Work with clients, contractors, and workers to promote a strong safety culture.
Education & Qualifications
Post-secondary education or training in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Construction, or a related field.
3-5+ years of HSE experience in construction, industrial, or energy sectors.
NCSO, CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent certification.
Valid First Aid/CPR and applicable site safety certifications.
Skills & Experience
Knowledge of OHS and environmental legislation.
Experience with inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Strong communication, coaching, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively with diverse teams and Indigenous communities.
Minimum of 58 years of experience providing HSE support on construction, industrial, or energy-related projects.
