Group Home Team Leader

Gravelbourg Bon Ami, Inc. is looking fora  caring, dependable and compassionate Group Home Team Leader to join our team.

The Group Home Team Leader is a hands-on leadership position supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership to staff while also working directly with participants and supporting them in their home and community.

The Group Home Team Leader will

• Support the day-to-day operation of the Group Home
• Promote participant safety, dignity, rights and choices.
• Work directly with participants and assist with daily routines, activities and community involvement
• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and coaching to staff.
• Ensure staff follow individual support plans, CBSP's and Agency Policies
• Assist with staff scheduling and coverage
• Assist with documentation and administrative responsibilities
• Support participant appointments and activities
• Monitor household supplies, groceries and general needs
• Communicate with participants, families, coworkers and members of the support team

The regular schedule is

Monday: 9 am - 4 pm

Tuesday: 1 pm - 8:30 pm

Wednesday: 9 am - 4 pm

Thursday: 1 pm - 8:30 pm

Friday: 1 pm - 8:30 pm

The successful candidate will have

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide respectful leadership and direction to staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Clearance
• Willingness to complete required Agency Training.
