Grocery Freight Delivery Driver

Meadow Lake Co-op is hiring a Full-time Grocery Freight Delivery Person at our Grocery Store

What youll do: Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the successful candidate will:

Meet all Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on hygiene, presentation and customer service;

Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude;

Ensure safe and timely delivery or goods to Urban and Rural locations;

Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure functionality

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected weather conditions;

Loading and unloading cargo efficiently, manually or using forklifts;

Adhere to traffic laws and following established traffic and transportation procedures

Be punctual, trustworthy, and responsible;

Reporting any incidents or delivery issues to the dispatcher

Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle;

Other duties as assigned

Who you are

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

Class 5 Drivers license

Strong work ethic and positive team player attitude

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Candidate must possess a valid drivers license

Be able to provide a drivers abstract

Ability to work independently and as a team

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
