Grain Elevator Administrative Assistant

Chaplin grain elevator operates a busy grain elevator, serving farmers and agricultural producers in Chaplin and west of Sask.We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at the grain elevator. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and assist in various tasks related to grain handling, customer service, and office management.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain accurate records of grain transactions, inventory levels, and customer accounts using company software.

Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and deliveries.

Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence as needed.

Coordinate with grain elevator staff to ensure timely and accurate grain shipments and deliveries.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.

Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Support the grain elevator manager and administrative officer with administrative tasks as required.
