Chief Moosomin School is Pre K to grade 12 and is located 30 kilometers north of North Battleford Saskatchewan. Moosomin
First Nation Education Council (MFNEC) is dedicated and culturally rooted to furthering academic, cultural and language pride of
all students. MFNEC is accepting applications for the 2026 2027 school year for the Grade Eight position. MFNEC follows the
STF salary grid as a guideline and offers Pension & Benefits to all full-time staff.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS AND ABILITIES / ATTRIBUTES
Plan, implement, evaluate, and report on Chief Moosomin School education programs
Develop and monitor program workplans, objectives and outcomes
Ability to embed local First Nation culture into teaching practice
Implement new methodologies and strategies to provide a creative, engaged, and inclusive classroom experience
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have
Must hold a Bachelor of Education
Possess a Teacher Professional A Certificate
Experience working with First Nation education institutions and programs
Knowledge of First Nation education issues, challenges, and delivery models
Ability to use various computer software systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and have strong classroom management
Possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License and must be SGI approved for insurance purposes
Provide a clean CPIC
Possess a strong work ethic, and be dependable and reliable
