Golf Course Superintendent

Sask Landing Golf Resort is a beautiful 18-hole course located 30 minutes north of Swift Current and is located within Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park along Lake Diefenbaker. We also have a clubhouse restaurant, pro shop & private seasonal campground.

We are on the search for our next Golf Course Superintendent to help us maintain the elite quality of our  course and plan for the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, supervise, and execute daily and seasonal maintenance of tees, fairways, greens, roughs, and other playing areas.

Oversee turf grass health, including mowing, aeration, fertilization, irrigation, pest, disease, and weed control.

Manage irrigation systems and water usage to keep turf healthy with environmental stewardship.

Plan and implement long-term agronomic programs and cultural practices.

Hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff and seasonal workers.

Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets for maintenance programs and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary education in turf grass management, horticulture, agronomy, or related field OR a combination of significant experience in golf course maintenance (35+ years), including leadership roles.

Pesticide and fertilizer applicator certification and knowledge of WHIMS/OHS.

Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and planning skills.
