General Manager Region 1

We are looking for a General Manager to join our fast-paced, energetic company, ideally working from Swift Current, Kyle, Maple Creek or Shaunavon. As GM of Region 1 you will be part of the future of agriculture & play a key role in developing/supporting business growth & leadership for the company. In one of Canadas top John Deere dealer organizations you will deliver quality work in a friendly & collaborative environment that encourages learning & growth.

Responsibilities

• Leadership of physical assets, staff, business processes, financial resources
• Develop/guide Branch Mgrs in AOR
• Develop/execute business & marketing plans
• Dealership operations & development
• Ensure financial stability through budgeting & internal controls
• Maintain brand image & vendor relationships consistent with values, vision, & mission
• Manage recruiting & employee development

Requirements

• 7+ years mgmt/branch ops/inventory control in increasingly responsible roles
• Business/marketing education (education & experience may be considered)
• In-depth knowledge of ag industry, JD & competitive products
• Experience in leading/motivating mgrs
• Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
• Results-oriented, strong work ethic, analytical
• Positive attitude empathetic
• Self-aware, high level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
• Valid drivers licence, travel & work flexible/extended hours
