We are currently seeking qualified, motivated, and reliable individuals to join our organization as General Labourers.
Position Overview
The General Labourer plays an essential role in supporting the pipe coating production process. This entry level position provides on the job training and offers opportunities for advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling Load, unload, and transport pipes and related materials throughout the facility.
Production Support Assist with pipe preparation activities, including cleaning, sand blasting, and masking.
Equipment Operation Operate hand tools, basic power tools, and, when required, larger machinery under supervision.
General Maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through regular housekeeping duties.
Safety Compliance Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safe work procedures.
Team Collaboration Work effectively within a team to meet daily production targets and operational requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment
Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Demonstrated strong work ethic and a positive, safety focused attitude
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced industrial setting
Willingness to work in various weather conditions, as work may take place both indoors and outdoors.
