About this role
We are looking for a Fuel Tank Inspector to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and refurbishing various equipment, mainly highway tanks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain trailer mounted fuel tanks, along with related equipment.
Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting as required.
Carry out welding, fabrication, and tank repairs where required.
Ensure tanks and equipment meet applicable safety and operational standards.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Use tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
Follow all company and industry safety policies and procedures and will train to certify for B620 Tank Inspector.
Qualifications & Skills
Welder, mechanic or relevant technical training.
Previous experience working with heavy-duty equipment, tanks, trailers or industrial machinery.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding or fabrication is an asset.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings and service information.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Valid drivers licence.
