Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one peer support, guidance, and resource navigation for family members affected by mental health or addiction challenges.
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate family-focused support programs, including Family Recovery Journey, Family Support Group, and other initiatives.
Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, Indigenous partners, and treatment facilities to strengthen referral networks.
Assist with developing and maintaining family support resources, including website content, guides, and educational materials.
Monitor program outcomes, collect participant feedback, and report results to the Executive Director and funders.
Office Administration
In addition to the Family Support Coordinator responsibilities, this position includes office administration duties for the Saskatoon office. Responsibilities include providing printing services, answering phone calls and general inquiry emails, and managing and ordering office supplies.
Qualifications
Lived experience as a family member supporting someone with mental health or addiction challenges.
Knowledge of recovery-oriented care.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently.
A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related field is considered an asset but is not required.
Valid driver's licence required.
