Qualifications & Experience
University (B. Ed., SW or related) degree) or experience in an early childhood-relevant field
Experience in recruitment and training of volunteers is an asset
Training in and/or ability to facilitate family literacy programs and workshops
Salary commensurate with qualifications
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Adult Literacy Coordinator of PALN to support program delivery
Must have knowledge, skills and experience in
Critical thinking/problem solving
Community networking skills
Volunteer recruitment/support
Data collection
Report preparation and budgeting skills
Early childhood development
Healthy parenting and current strategies
Trauma informed practices
Group facilitation and presentations to groups
Social media program promotion
Computer Skills
