This position plays a key role in supporting flood hazard identification, flood mitigation initiatives, and watershed health across the region. This exciting position offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with community engagement, helping communities better understand, plan for, and respond to flood-related challenges.
In this role you will lead and support a variety of projects focused on flood mapping, mitigation programs, and environmental stewardship while serving as a trusted resource for stakeholders and the public. You'll coordinate projects, deliver presentations and workshops, participate in community events, and collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and local partners to promote flood planning initiatives and encourage community participation. The successful candidate will have a diploma in environmental science, water management, and/or agriculture or a similar discipline. Candidates must be eligible for certification with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (SASTT) as an Associate Member or membership to the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) or a membership to Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologist (SIA).

Compensation Details
$31.22 - $39.02 per hour (Classification 7)
