About this role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Equipment Operator to join our team. Someone who knows their way around equipment and the shop.
Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and servicing on company vehicles, equipment
Keep equipment maintained, reliable, and ready for use
Perform daily/monthly inspections and complete preventative maintenance
Equipment operated may include, but is not limited to:
Directional bore
CAT D6/D8
Skid steer
Trackhoe
Backhoe
Loader
Semi Tractor/Trailer
Work safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Keep the shop, tools, and work areas organized
Assist with other shop and equipment-related duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with equipment and vehicles
Able to perform routine maintenance and service
Experience loading, transporting, and operating heavy equipment
Valid Class 1A Drivers License, with a good driving record
Powered Mobile Equipment certification is a strong asset
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Dependable, safety-minded, and takes pride in quality workmanship
Willing and able to travel to job sites and work away from home
Must be willing to participate in required annual drug and alcohol testing
