Employment Coordinator

The Town of Tisdale - Northeast Newcomers Services is looking for an Employment Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Newcomers in job searching.  Includes resume building and interview preparation
• Building relationships with local employers to create job opportunities
• Provide career counselling and employment workshops
• Support clients in navigating workplace culture and expectations

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree (not restricted to, but preferably) in one of the following areas: Commerce, Education, English Language Arts, International Studies, Indigenous Studies, Womens and Gender Studies, Social Work or Psychology
• 1-2 years experience in the non-profit sector (preferably related to newcomers)
• An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience will be considered
• Criminal record check (vulnerable sector included)
• Class 5 Drivers License
• Access to a vehicle
