Education Assistant - PA / Christopher Lake

Eagle's Nest Youth Ranch is recruiting for a full-time permanent Education Assistant to begin work in one of our Prince Albert or Christopher Lake classrooms Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.  The successful person will begin at end of August 2026, and the location of work will be determined closer to that time.

Eagle's Nest is an organization dedicated to working with vulnerable youth who are experiencing various challenges.  Our students receive their education either through our independent schools or through mainstream school.

As an Education Assistant in one of our Eagle's Nest schools, you will work under the guidance and supervision of the classroom Teacher and will be required to:

Promote an atmosphere of respect for students and adults

Provide a positive, caring and safe school environment

Demonstrate ethical and confidential behavior

Show patience and understanding towards students

Makes a positive contribution to the school's functions and activities

Carry out teacher directed activities to reach the student's established goals

Qualifications

Legally entitled to work in Canada

Ability to develop strong, positive relationships with the students

Ability to work as a team member of the Education Staff

Prior related work experience, education, and additional skills will be taken into consideration (e.g. woodworking, mechanical, music).

Mandatory employment requirements

Clear Criminal Record Clearance with a vulnerable sector check

Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Valid First Aid CPR C Certification
