About this role
Review blueprints, drawings, and work order specifications to determine installation requirements, layouts, and procedures.
Measure, mark, and prepare installation areas to ensure accurate placement and alignment of doors, frames, windows, and related components.
Install, repair, adjust, and maintain residential and commercial doors, door frames, windows, hardware, and other prefabricated building products using hand and power tools.
Remove and replace damaged or defective doors, frames, hardware, weather stripping, and related components as required.
Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
Inspect completed installations, perform adjustments, and verify proper operation and fit of installed products.
Load, unload, and safely handle materials, tools, and equipment required for installation projects.
Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, contractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and foremen regarding project requirements, progress, and any installation challenges.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite before, during, and after installations.
Complete projects within established timelines while meeting customer expectations for quality and service.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on installed products as required.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and ensuring customer satisfaction upon project completion.
