Domestic Support Worker

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA) is dedicated to supporting and empowering foster families through education, advocacy, and resources. Our mission is to help create healthy homes, positive environments, and brighter futures for children and youth in care throughout Saskatchewan. SFFA is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our In-Home Support Program as a Domestic Support Worker.

As a Domestic Support Worker, you will assist caregivers in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized home environment. Successful candidates must be dependable, physically capable of performing cleaning duties, possess strong time management skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• *Location: Tuxford, SK
• *Job Type/Schedule: Casual 8 hours per week. Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9am-1pm
• *Responsibilities may include:
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors throughout the home
• Performing kitchen cleaning duties, including sanitizing countertops, cupboards, tables, and chairs, and organizing cupboards, pantry spaces, and refrigerators
• General dusting and cleaning of living areas
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Washing, folding, and putting away laundry

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• *Qualifications and Experience**
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper use of cleaning products
