Director, Supply Chain and Distribution

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide support as a Director, Supply Chain and Distribution within the Supply Chain and Distribution Branch.

This position is required to work on-site, reporting to the Vice President, Liquor Wholesale and Distribution Division.

This position is responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of SLGA's liquor supply chain and distribution services. This includes overall accountability and direct responsibility for all purchasing, customs, inbound, and outbound activities at SLGAs Distribution Centre (DC). The DC provides uninterrupted service 364 days a year to private retail stores and is the province's largest source of mainstream spirits, wine, refreshment beverages, and specialty beer products. The Director oversees the management of more than 9,000 unique products, distributing 2.9 million cases annually to 450 customers. The position is responsible for an annual gross revenue budget of approximately $350 million and an annual expense budget of $11 million. In addition to operational leadership, the position is responsible for providing visible, credible, and people-centered leadership by building strong teams, supporting employee development, and fostering a culture of safety, trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
