DIRECT SUPPORT WORKER -. Part Time Positions

Battlefords Residential Services Inc. (BRSI) is a non-profit, community-based organization providing residential, day program and support services to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through the operation of 6 group homes providing service for 35 individuals; Supportive Living Programs providing service for up to 15 individuals and a community-based day program providing service for 12 individuals.

BRSI is inviting applications for one Part Time Direct Support Worker

Hours of work - Shift work following a 4 week rotation (3pm-9pm, 4pm-9pm, 1pm-9pm, 8am-4pm)

The successful applicants will have

• training and/or experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities/Autism;
• implements and monitors the individual's activities in accordance to their program plan;
• assists in the development of appropriate activities to meet the program plan objectives;
• provides support to achieve the needs and challenges of daily living;
• works to develop the skills needed to cope in a variety of situations and environments (use of communication device/social stories);
• good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;
• First Aid and CPR (training provided);
• a valid driver's license;
• Criminal Record Check and vulnerable sector search is required

We are currently looking for 4 part time positions.

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

The starting salary is $19.66/hour.
